FND Awareness Day Brought to you in association with Glasgow FND Awareness Support Circle
On Wednesday, 25th March, between 12 PM and 4 PM, we invite you to join us in raising awareness for Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) — a complex, often misunderstood condition that impacts many lives.
FND affects the way the nervous system functions, leading to symptoms like movement difficulties, seizures, sensory issues, and more. Despite its prevalence, FND remains underdiagnosed and stigmatised, leaving many individuals feeling isolated.
Our aim is to educate, support, and advocate for greater understanding and compassion. Whether you're personally affected, a healthcare professional, or simply curious, your participation can help make a difference.
What’s happening on the day:
• Community stalls with information and resources
• Taster sessions and mini workshops
• Personal stories and experiences shared by those living with FND
• Opportunities to ask questions and connect with others
• Support signposting to local services
• Much more exciting activities to raise awareness and understanding!
Come along to learn more about FND, meet others, and show your support. Together, we can break the stigma, spread awareness, and foster a more inclusive community.
Remember: Knowledge is power. Your involvement can help bring hope and understanding to many.
Join us on this important day and help us shine a spotlight on FND! Your presence and support can truly make a difference.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
