About Yossi Zabari: A Jew on the Run
Yossi Zabari is an Israeli-born, Arab-Jewish, queer comedian who somehow ended up in Europe, raising two suspiciously white kids while running into people shouting ‘from the river to the sea’ but can’t name the river. Or the sea.
In this sharply funny and disarmingly honest show, Yossi blends stand-up, storytelling, and personal chaos to explore identity, guilt, and how to escape a mess you never signed up for. From making babies to making trouble, he digs into the absurdities of being a brown Jew performing for audiences who aren’t sure whether to laugh, boo, or send him to therapy.
“A Jew on the Run” is a bold, provocative hour that finds humour in all the wrong places and shows that sometimes the best way to survive your country is to leave it alone…
