In an uncertain world defined by the swell of the sea and the creak of the mast, these unlikely souls find themselves navigating an ocean where the line between memory and myth are blurred like a foggy horizon.
Three Rogues at Sea is a whimsical dive into the lives of pirates who are as much at the mercy of their own eccentricity as they are the elements.
Gravity is the constant and laughter is the compass as they find a way through a storm of their own making.
Through a seascape of high-flying movement and witty encounters, the rogues are a celebration of the absurd, the mystical and delight of the imperfect. This is a voyage where the destination is unknown, but the journey – filled with song, shadow, and spectacle – is everything.
Directed by Lisette Boxman and performed by the students of the Professional Development Course: Huckleberry Hopper, Grace Kielstra, Andrea Marchettini, Martina Worden.
