About Malcolm Le Maistre & The Woolverstones
Malcolm Le Maistre, a member of the legendary The Incredible String Band, brings decades of poetic storytelling, experimental textures, and deep folk tradition—an artist whose influence and legacy continue to resonate widely.
Sharing the bill are The Woolverstones, a harmony-rich duo crafting immersive art-folk steeped in atmosphere and subtle psychedelia. Their acclaimed debut Grey Eyed Dandy (produced by 2026 Grammy-nominated producer John Wood, known for his work with Nick Drake, Pink Floyd and Pentangle) earned international airplay across North America and Europe. The band have since toured the UK and Europe multiple times. Reviewing their performance in Dundee in October 2025, Sheena Wellington (Scottish Traditional Music Hall of Fame inductee) described their performance as “a wonderful mix of raw energy and fine musicianship.”
