Join us for a special afternoon celebrating the launch of The Prison Project, a powerful debut memoir exploring Aimee Friel’s experience teaching dance to young men in a Scottish prison throughout her early twenties.
This engaging and welcoming event offers a chance to step inside the stories behind the book. The party will include a live reading from one of the chapters, followed by an author Q&A reflecting on the journey, the people, and the moments that shaped the memoir.
Copies of The Prison Project will be available to purchase at the event.
Guests can also enjoy drinks from the bar, including delicious cocktails and mocktails, alongside a selection of sweet treats.
Whether you're here for the fun party atmosphere or to soak up the stories behind the book, this promises to be a memorable event.
If you plan on coming along, please RSVP via Eventbrite.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
