This year’s event begins on the 1st December with some lantern making across the local primary schools, led by local artists and arts project, Plantation Productions. Following this event, there shall be a short parade to Elderpark Library for some extra entertainment and a guest appearance from DJ Steve McKenna.
Over the course of the 12 days there will be a number of Christmas events on across the community, including pantomimes, school choir concerts, a Christmas lunch provided by Macmillan Café and the Govan Weavers, Christmas bingo across various locations, a pampering day, a cabaret event, Christmas shows, a Karaoke Disco and a live music event to name a few.
