The family friendly festival will feature a wide range of activities with a touch of kindness as some of the profits will be used to purchase ambulances.
A diverse line-up of artists will take to the main stage at Tollcross Park with more acts to be announced in the coming months. Alongside a comedy programme, visitors can enjoy a sports zone with an influencer football match, storytelling spaces, an outdoor cinema and limited spots for yoga and creative workshops - all include in the ticket price.
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at www.funforlifefest.com
Standard tickets are £35 for adults and £23 for children excluding the booking fees and charges. Organisers claim its great value for money for a festival of this scale.
Renowned for its beautiful rose garden Tollcross park offers ample space for all planned activities and attendees, with excellent transport links - Carntyne train station is just a five-minute walk away, with frequent services from Queen Street station. Tollcross Park has a rich history where major concerts used to be held and organisers believe it is the perfect time to showcase everything this remarkable park has to offer.
Umran Ali Javaid the festival director has already delivered over 40 ambulances around the world to communities in need.
He said: “Im really excited to showcase this festival which will be innovative, great value for money and a memorable experience for all ages. We have an excellent team of professionals and partners working with us who have decades of event experience and aim to deliver the festival to a high standard.”
“We’re delighted to announce some of the fantastic artists set to perform at the festival next year. Boney M are legendary, with hits loved across the globe. Newton Faulkner who has released multiple acclaimed albums, will also take to the main stage”.
“There will also be a wide range of activities on offer, including an immersive experience area, a dinosaur-themed zone, and a drone light show towards the end of the festival. Another positive aspect is that some of the profits of our business will be used to deliver 15 ambulances to many countries around the world including an ambulance to a hospice in Scotland. We already have 4 out of 15 ambulances from our target. This will allow us to put kindness at the heart of the festival, the ambulances are not a big deal as hundreds of thousands still need help but at least they can make a little difference and hopefully save some civilian lives.”
“The festival will be a safe space for families and friends so they can enjoy a memorable experience together and we can deliver ambulances on a larger scale.”
