A new pop-up store dedicated to the much-loved Scottish comedy series Still Game is now open in the centre, attracting fans eager to browse the exclusive range of official merchandise. Created in collaboration with the show’s stars, Ford Kiernan and Greg Hemphill, and Scottish retailer Born in Scotland, the shop features a variety of themed products including t-shirts, hoodies, hats, gifts and the official Still Game board game - perfect for fans of the iconic series.
Wall art retailer Picturesmania will also join Buchanan Galleries in early December. Known for its bold, colourful and vibrant designs, the store will offer a wide selection of eye-catching artwork ideal for festive gifting or brightening up the home. Picturesmania will occupy the unit next to The Entertainer on the first floor.
These arrivals come as Buchanan Galleries continues to strengthen its mix of independent, pop-up and well-loved high street brands, including the recent opening of MINISO on Buchanan Street — the international lifestyle retailer known for its affordable character goods, homewares and toys — adding to a vibrant shopping experience throughout the festive season and beyond.
Kathy Murdoch, Centre Director at Buchanan Galleries, said: “We’re delighted to welcome both the Still Game pop-up and Picturesmania to Buchanan Galleries just in time for the festive rush. The addition of these unique retailers brings even more variety to the centre, giving our visitors the chance to discover something new while enjoying the atmosphere of Christmas shopping in the heart of the city.
“Whether guests are looking for the perfect gift, a treat for themselves, or simply a moment of festive fun, we’re proud to offer a diverse mix of stores and experiences under one roof.”
Buchanan Galleries is also gearing up for a season of giving, with festive family fun planned throughout December - including the return of its free Santa’s Grotto experience, delivered in partnership with Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity, reopening on Saturday 6th December.
