Christmas is reaching dazzling new heights in Glasgow this Sunday 7th December, at VEGA’s Christmas Market, where customers have the chance to “unwrap the city” and win the ultimate Glasgow Christmas gift worth over £1,000.
Sky-high bar and restaurant VEGA, situated on the top floor of YOTEL Glasgow, is transforming its U-Bar into the highest Christmas market in the city as its quarterly shopping concept, Off the Rails, returns for a special festive edition on Sunday 7th December, 1pm–6pm.
For the chance to enter the prize draw, guests simply need to purchase a drink at the Christmas Market, that gets them in for a chance of winning the prize bundle that festive dreams are made of, including:
• £750 shopping voucher to spend at Buchanan Galleries
• A weekend stay at YOTEL Glasgow, including breakfast
• Unlimited free bowling for the whole of 2026 at VEGA for fun that lasts all year
The winner will be announced the following day, giving them just enough time to hit the shops for an unforgettable Glasgow Christmas.
About Off the Rails Christmas Market
As well as stalls selling handmade unique gifts, from quirky bespoke snowglobe tumblers from Happy Sad Designs to vintage clothes from Rewrkd Glasgow, there will also be festive treats for guests full of winter warmers, with seasonal tipples including mulled wine, and canapés fit for a magical Christmas celebration. Guests can cosy up and escape the cold to enjoy an afternoon of festive cheer with a view.
Shoppers can pick from multiple stalls to bag the best holiday buys, each focused on providing personalised gifts and wrapping stations to ensure presents are expertly packaged and ready for the big day. Local singer-songwriter Phil Ciarletta, will be setting the scene for the day with a set of tunes to serenade shoppers.
