Taking its cue from Kevin’s famous line “A lovely cheese pizza, just for me”, the randomly selected winner will be able to enjoy a free cheese pizza each month – whether spending alone or with friends or family.
Running from Wednesday 3rd December to Friday 12th December, to enter shoppers need to visit Glasgow Fort’s Instagram or Facebook page like the competition post and tag a friend in the comments.
The competition launches as Glasgow Fort continues its festive programme featuring Kevin’s Christmas Adventure: Lost in The Fort!, where characters inspired by the much-loved film are visiting the centre throughout December, meeting shoppers, snapping photos and spreading plenty of Christmas cheer.
Phil Goodman, centre director at Glasgow Fort, said: “Home Alone is a much-loved Christmas classic and it’s great seeing just how excited families are when they’ve spotted the characters at the centre.
“Bringing one of its most memorable scenes to life with Leopardo Pizza is great fun and offering a year-long prize is a great way to spread festive cheer!
“There’s a brilliant buzz across the centre at the moment, with our Christmas markets, seasonal food, entertainment and all now underway. It’s a lovely time for families and friends to come together and enjoy everything Glasgow Fort has to offer.”
Every weekend in the run-up to Christmas, families can enjoy appearances from other characters inspired by Home Alone, including:
• The Big Band (bringing big brass energy and a New York-style soundtrack) - Saturday 13th December
• Kevin and the Christmas bandits return - Saturday 20th December
The characters will appear in 30-minute intervals between noon and 4pm on the selected dates and will roam throughout the centre.
Glasgow Fort’s Christmas Markets are also open until 31st December outside Primark, offering a winter wonderland of artisan stalls, handcrafted gifts, decorations and festive treats. Visitors can enjoy everything from sweet and savoury bites to the popular Yorkshire pudding wraps and the German bar.
