On Saturday 17th January, Showcase Cinemas is screening all three extended films back-to-back, Fellowship, Two Towers and Return of the King, with one ticket covering the full trilogy!

For one day only, The Lord of the Rings fans can experience the full journey - from the Shire to Mount Doom in a single epic sitting - as the trilogy’s extended editions hit the big screen.
Hosted at Showcase Cinemas nationwide, this extra special event takes place on Saturday 17th January and features over 12 hours of uninterrupted back-to-back movie magic, with just one ticket needed to see all three films in full.
The full marathon includes extended editions of:
• The Fellowship of the Ring
• The Two Towers
• The Return of the King
Based on the legendary novels by J.R.R. Tolkien and directed by Peter Jackon, The Lord of the Rings trilogy is one of the most acclaimed cinematic achievements of all time.
The films won a combined 17 Academy Awards, including Best Picture for The Return of the King, and continue to captivate fans 25 years after the release of the first film in the trilogy, The Fellowship of the Ring.
With extended scenes, deeper character development and breathtaking visuals, these definitive versions offer the ultimate Middle-earth experience.

The Lord of the Rings marathon takes place on Saturday 17th January at all Showcase Cinemas locations. In addition to the marathon, individual screenings of each film’s extended edition will also be available to book separately on selected dates.
