Glasgow Science Centre celebrates 25 Years with Science Late: Timewarp
As part of its year-long 25th anniversary celebrations, tickets are now available for Glasgow Science Centre's unforgettable adult-only Science Lates: Timewarp event on Friday 13 March.

This special edition of the Centre’s popular Science Lates series will transform the building into a retro-futuristic playground - blending nostalgia, hands-on science, gaming, expert talks and interactive adventures – complete with street-food, cocktails and unique activities.
Guests on the night will be invited to:
• Step back into the golden age of gaming with our expanded Retro Arcade, featuring classics including Mario Kart, Street Fighter II, Tekken 3, Mortal Kombat 3, The Simpsons, Outrun 2, Bubble Bobble, Tony Hawk, and Guitar Hero.
• Race the clock with your teammates in NPL’s thrilling measurement-themed escape room! Take on seven measurement challenges, work together under pressure, and see if your team can soar to the top of the leaderboard.
• Explore 330 million years of Glasgow’s geological story as geologist David Webster showcases remarkable fossils from the city’s iconic Fossil Grove in Victoria Park. Learn about the 11 fossilised Lycopsid stumps, their scientific importance, and the site's exciting grand reopening later this year.
• Revisit favourite exhibits from our early days and explore original site schematics from our opening. Share your memories, ideas, and inspirations in our community forum. Your suggestion might just help shape the next 25 years!
• And many more time-bending delights on the night!
You’ll also be able to upgrade your evening with the special talk “The Robot Uprising (Why It Won’t Be What You Expect)” delivered by Blair Wilson of The National Robotarium, which promises live demos, mythbusting insights, and an engaging look into the future of intelligent machines.
