This Valentine’s Day, The Ivy Buchanan Street, Glasgow invites guests to celebrate love in unmistakable Ivy style with a specially curated Valentine’s set menu, including a glass of The Ivy Champagne. Available on 13th to 14th February and priced at £55/£60* per person in restaurants nationwide**, the romantic three-course menu showcases seasonal flavours, elegant presentation and signature Ivy flair. What’s more, every guest dining on the Valentine’s Day menu will be able to capture the moment and cherish it forever with an instant photo of them, presented in an Ivy Valentine’s Day card alongside fresh red roses.
Designed to delight from the very first bite, the menu opens with a selection of beautifully balanced starters. Guests can savour Roasted Queen Scallops finished with a luxurious Parmesan and truffle emulsion, crunchy pangrattato and delicate potato puffs. Alternatively, the Tamarind Beetroot and Endive Salad provides a light yet flavour-packed start, with red chicory, kohlrabi and cranberries, topped with candied pecans and drizzled with an apple cider dressing. The Ivy’s Classic Crispy Duck Salad also features among the starters, served with watermelon and topped with roasted cashew nuts, sesame and a ginger and hoisin sauce.
For the main course, The Ivy, Glasgow’s chefs present an array of elegant yet flavour-led dishes. A comforting Lentil and Aubergine Bake sees mixed grains blended with roasted pumpkin purée and red pepper drops, topped with watercress and a spiced tomato sauce. The Truffled Chicken Milanese sees a tender chicken breast covered with crisp, golden breadcrumbs and topped with a creamy truffle sauce and a perfectly fried egg, while the Soy-glazed Blackened Cod offers bold umami flavours lifted with citrus, chilli and fragrant yuzu herb dressing. For those seeking a truly special centrepiece, the Succulent Grilled Fillet Steak is cooked to perfection and finished with a truffle and Calvados cream sauce (£6 supplement).
Dessert is a celebration in itself, with choices designed to end the evening on a romantic note. The Rose Petal Parfait blends raspberry and rose flavours with pistachios and red berry sauce for a fragrant and visually striking finale. The much-loved Ivy Chocolate Bombe provides a moment of theatre as warm caramel sauce melts the chocolate shell to reveal vanilla ice cream and crunchy honeycomb beneath. For a lighter option, guests can select a refreshing Lemon Sorbet with Frozen Berries, drizzle with a red berry sauce.
Mark Askew, Group Executive Chef at The Ivy Collection, said: “Our Valentine’s menu is about generosity, flavour and sharing memorable moments over a delicious brunch or dinner. We’ve carefully crafted each dish to feel special, whether guests are celebrating a long-standing love or creating a new tradition together at The Ivy.”
Guests who are wanting to move onto something fruitier upon finishing their glass of The Ivy Champagne can look to enjoy The Ivy Collection’s exclusive cocktail, crafted especially for Valentine’s Day. A perfectly balanced blend of sweetness and freshness, The Perfect Match combines Tanqueray gin with peach wine with lemon and rhubarb syrup to lend a lightly tart note. Finished with a white chocolate rim and berry sugar dust to add a final layer of soft decadence.
Adding a thoughtful finishing touch, every diner enjoying the Valentine’s Day Menu can choose to have their photograph taken and placed in a beautiful Ivy Valentine’s Day card. Presented alongside fresh red roses, the memento is the perfect way to capture the moment and savour it for years to come.
With its combination of exceptional food, timeless glamour and thoughtful details, The Ivy Buchanan Street, Glasgow offers the perfect setting for an unforgettable Valentine’s celebration.
