Get ready for a brilliant weekend at the free Loch Lomond Springfest on 4th and 5th April, featuring world-class chefs, wild foraging, tasty street food and non-stop family fun for all ages!

The Loch Lomond Springfest, one of Scotland’s biggest FREE food festivals, is back on the 4th and 5th April at Loch Lomond Shores with a fantastic line up of food and drink producers, chef demonstrations and foraging workshops, as well as children’s entertainment and much more.

Running from 10am to 5pm each day, the festival is full of great things to see and do that will keep you busy all day.

For budding chefs, we have the very talented Suki Pantal! Suki, author and chef, will be sharing her passion for the taste of India with festival goers on Saturday with FREE demonstrations at 12pm, 1.30pm and 3pm.

On Sunday we’ll have an exciting new chef making his Springfest debut, Tony Alberti. Tony is an internationally renowned chef, cookbook author, and television personality known for his bold, flavour-driven approach to Italian cuisine and his deep-rooted passion for cooking. He will be hosting FREE demonstrations on Sunday at 12pm, 1.30pm and 3pm.

For would-be foragers. we have expert forager, Sharon Kerrigan, who will be leading small groups on a foraging workshop wander to explore wild foods available and share her extensive knowledge of what to pick and their edible and medicinal properties. Foraging workshop wanders will take place at 10.30am, 12pm, 1.30pm and 3pm each day. Buy tickets in advance on Eventbrite to ensure you’re place in Sharon’s small groups.

For children, big and small, we’ll have children’s rides and the Loch Lomond Shores Express land train on both days from 11am to 5pm.

And, between 1pm and 4pm on Sunday we’ll have popular characters Elphaba and Glinda from Wicked entertaining the crowds, as well as a very special visit from the Easter Bunny with lots of tasty Easter Eggs to giveaway.

For everyone, we’ve got talented buskers around site performing their music throughout, as well as all the great things we offer such as bike & boat hire, water sports, SEA LIFE, Go Wild Loch Lomond, loch cruises with Loch Lomond Leisure and Sweeney’s Cruises, Teddy Mountain, adventure golf and Loch Lomond Bird of Prey Centre. And don’t forget we’ve got our shops, cafes and Jurassic Grill to enjoy too!

For food lovers - last but by no means least - we will have our usual huge array of street food, including Mexican, Greek, Korean, loaded baked potatoes, steak frites and scallops, as well as lots of food producers such as Three Sisters Bake, Chulos stuffed cookies and Big Daft Cakes so you can enjoy while browsing or take home to savour later. You can also purchase your favourite tipple with local drinks producers such as Island Slice Rum, Helensburgh Dry Gin and other craft spirits.
