Hop to it. Families looking for things to do over the Easter break will find plenty to keep little ones entertained at St. Enoch Centre, with a jam-packed line-up of spring activities, beauty pop-ups, crafting, and food offerings starting this weekend.
A highlight of the Easter celebrations will see local beauty queen Shine by Shan pop up this Saturday for an 8-day showcase of her viral vegan and cruelty-free lip products. Running for eight days (4th - 11th April), little shoppers will have the chance to get up close to the brand and even fill their own lip gloss as part of a bright pink installation.
To celebrate opening day, early visitors who purchase a lip gloss between 9am and 11am will receive a free candy floss from a pop-up cart. From midday, the space will transform into a high-energy beauty experience with DJs and dancers bringing a party atmosphere to the Centre.
Families can also enjoy free face painting from Good Friday to Easter Monday (12-4pm daily), available on a first-come, first-served basis at The Atrium food court.
For those feeling creative, Søstrene Grene will host free Easter-themed crafting workshops in front of their store from today (Thursday, 2nd April) until Easter Monday, offering inspiration for handmade decorations and low-cost activities to try at home. They’ll also have lots of decorations in store for last-minute shopping.
Film fans won’t miss out either as the next instalment of the hugely popular Super Mario Bros. lands just in time for the holidays with multiple screenings for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie at VUE Cinema Glasgow St. Enoch tomorrow (Good Friday onwards).
At Hamley’s, the fun continues with a series of magical in-store events. On Saturday, 4th April (12pm until 4pm) enjoy balloon modelling, colourful face painting and candy floss treats, making it an ideal stop for youngsters looking for a bit of extra Easter magic. They’ll also host a LEGO make and take on Saturday, 11th April (10am - 6pm), where kids can build their own LEGO Easter eggs, or join in an IRL Easter Egg hunt with Eugy toys on Sunday, 12th April (10am - 6pm) - don’t miss them.
Older kids and collectors can also explore the arrival of POP MART’s ‘Robo Shop’ at The Entertainer from Tuesday 14th April (9am onwards), featuring an interactive vending machine-style experience stocked with limited-edition collectables from lines such as Molly, Hirono, and SKULLPANDA, and buy the iconic blind boxes from the machine.
Families can also fuel up at Monterey Jack’s and enjoy a free sharing dessert when dining on two main meals, alongside £3 signature coffees at any time. Available throughout April until stocks last.
Annmarie McClean at St. Enoch said: “At Easter, we know how important it is to find affordable things to do during the holidays. This year, our in-store programming is jam-packed, so whether you want to get crafting, visit a beauty popup, see a movie or want to make a day of it, St. Enoch Centre is the place for non-stop fun and activities this Easter.”
