Soprano Sofia Marafona and pianist Duarte Pereira Martins have been collaborating since 2017. Their partnership focuses on the song repertoire of the transition between the 19th and 20th centuries, alongside the rediscovery of Portuguese compositions. In 2023, Duo Interdito celebrates the birth centenary of Portuguese poet Eugénio de Andrade in a particular way. Throughout the year, they give a new voice to Eugénio's poetry in a joint effort with twelve young Portuguese composers, thus creating a new songbook: "O Caderno de Eugénio".
