| Rosshall Park & Gardens Crookston Road, Glasgow South Side G52 3NQ | |
Rosshall Estate was acquired by Glasgow Corporation in 1948. Initially, the mansion house and gardens were leased to a catering school, and it was not until 1966 that the gardens and surrounding parkland were opened to the public.
The park provides a variety of different experiences within a relatively small area. Located within the boundary of the park is an historic landscaped garden sitting within its own fenced and gated setting. The garden is most noted, however, for its splendid rock garden, designed by Pulham & Sons which represent the finest example of such work in Scotland.
