Welcome to Allégro Dance Academy, with locations in Glasgow's Cathcart and City Centre.
Classes are suitable for boys and girls of all ages, whether they would like to dance for fun or to train with the aim of pursuing ballet or dance as a career. Our aim is to enable each student to achieve their full dance potential in a nurturing and caring environment, through structured, fun and engaging classes.
Pre School Ballet RAD Ballet ISTD Tap ISTD Modern Acrobatic Arts Progressing Ballet Technique Pointe Work Strength & Flexibility Vocational Ballet Technique
Our ballet classes follow the prestigious and globally recognised Royal Academy of Dance syllabus, designed to develop confidence, poise, co-ordination and expression. Students also learn self discipline and social skills.
Our Tap and Modern classes follow the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) syllabus. Our Acro dance classes follow the Acrobatic Arts syllabus.
Students have the opportunity to enter both RAD and ISTD exams to gain formally recognised qualifications.
In addition to the syllabi, we also offer classes in vocation (non syllabus) ballet technique, pointe work, body strengthening, flexibility and Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) at various levels.
All students are taught by extensively trained, fully insured teachers who hold up to date PVG certificates and have appropriate first aid training. In addition to this we follow the RAD Safeguarding Policy to provide a safe and professional learning environment.
