The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall is a world-renowned concert hall located in the heart of Glasgow City Centre. It is one of Scotland's most prestigious venues, and hosts a wide range of performances, including classical concerts, jazz, pop, rock, and folk music. The venue has played host to some of the biggest names in music, including BB King, Johnny Cash, Van Morrison, David Byrne, Ray LaMontagne, The Eels, and Debbie Harry.
The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall is a beautiful building, with a curved stone exterior and a spacious, acoustically-excellent auditorium. The Main Auditorium can seat up to 2,475 people, while the Strathclyde Suite can accommodate up to 400 guests. The City of Music Studio is a smaller venue, with a capacity of 50 people.
The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall is also home to the RSNO, Scotland's national orchestra. The orchestra performs regularly at the venue, and offers a variety of education and outreach programs.
