Regular Music have announced that due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this year's Summer Nights at the Bandstand in Glasgow will not be going ahead this July and August.
however, almost all of the line-up for this year’s concert series have already committed to playing Summer Nights at the Bandstand in 2021 instead with Suzanne Vega, Belinda Carlisle, Rufus Wainwright, Van Morrison, KT Tunstall, Rick Astley, Richard Hawley, Primal Scream, King Creosote, The Jesus & Mary Chain, Edwyn Collins and Altered Images all signing up to perform next year.
Tickets for this year’s concerts are valid for the rescheduled shows in 2021. Refunds including booking fees are available from the point of purchase for those no longer able to attend.
Summer Nights is returning to the 2,500 capacity Kelvingrove Bandstand for two weeks again in 2021! Located in Glasgow’s Kelvingrove Park in the heart of the city’s West End, the bandstand sits between some of the city’s most stunning buildings – Glasgow University and Kelvingrove Art Gallery.
The festival will feature a premium street food outlets with areas to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings with friends.
