Theatre Royal Glasgow Website

The Theatre Royal Glasgow is home to Scotland’s resident companies, Scottish Opera and Scottish Ballet, and is a unique City Centre venue for conferences, meetings and seminars.

The Victorian auditorium and stylish contemporary corporate areas provide privacy and flexibility for many occasions. On March 2005 Ambassador Theatre Group took over the management of the Theatre Royal Glasgow, and continues to present first class entertainment.

Box Office Opening Hours
The Theatre Royal Glasgow Box Office (282 Hope Street) open Monday - Friday Midday - 6pm and Saturday 10am - 6pm, operates advance sales for both the Theatre Royal and our sister venue, the King’s Theatre.

On show nights the Theatre Royal Glasgow's box office will open 90 mins before curtain up offering counter sales for the evening performance only and no advance sales after 6pm. If you are collecting tickets we recommend you arrive at least 45 minutes prior to the start of the show.

Access to upper levels
Following the redevelopment, new lifts have opened up access, meaning for the first time in the theatre's 147 year history all audience members can reach all levels.

Theatre Royal Glasgow Cafe
Customers can now enjoy the theatre during the day, in a new café - Vanilla Black at the Theatre - serving coffee, cakes and other tasty treats. Complimentary wi-fi is available for cafe-users.
