Having hosted thousands of unsigned artists over the years, Box has a great reputation as THE Glasgow grassroots venue for new and up-and-coming artists to cut their teeth! Situated in the heart of the city on the iconic Sauchiehall Street, our stage is literally in the window!
On top of this, we host some of the countries most exciting function bands as our weekly residents, a legendary Open Mic Night hosted by Fatherson’s Ross Leighton and Prides’ Callum Wiseman. And one of the cities best Open Stage Jam nights. Plus our resident DJs at the weekend, keeping the party going until closing time!
We have seen amazing performances from the likes of Coheed and Cambria, Kids in Glass Houses, Vukovi, The Lafontaines, Fatherson, Five Finger Death Punch, Kobi Onyame to name a few. We have had DJ sets from The View, Grado, Jack Jester, Bring me the Horizon and many more. Even Lewis Capaldi, Paolo Nutini, and Jim Jefferies(yep!) have all been known to give us and many lucky punters a few tunes!
In the heart of Glasgow's Merchant City, LiQR is setting the standard for outstanding food, a wide range of drinks, live music and entertainment, and an overall memorable experience.
