Glasgow Stitchers main activities are our monthly Saturday meetings with a morning workshop, where you can work on a current project, and an afternoon talk on embroidery or textiles.
We are a friendly branch and you do not have to be 'an expert' to join as members are pleased to share their knowledge and experience. It is an excellent chance to make new friends as we enjoy chatting while we sew.
If you would like to come along to one of our meetings you will be welcome as a day visitor either morning, afternoon or both: the cost for a day visitor is £3. If you would then like to join the branch we can give you all the necessary details. We look forward to seeing you.
Our current program can be viewed on our website!
Glasgow Stitchers (formerly Glasgow & District Branch of the Embroiderers' Guild) are a group of friendly people dedicated to textile art and stitching who meet on the second Saturday each month.
