Hello! My name is Greg Irons (25 y/o), I am a working professional musician and recent graduate of the BMus Jazz course at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
Lessons are structured to the students' individual goals, through the lessons I am happy to work with you on anything you would like to improve on with your playing. We can also look at certain grooves and styles, or anything that you have in mind!
I have experience with the Rockscool & Trinity grade qualifications. If you would like guidance through the grades, I'd love to help.
Here are a few examples of my lesson topics:
- Technique with hands and feet
- Music notation - reading and general understanding
- Playing by ear
- Rudiments - and how to apply them musically on the drum set
- How to achieve good tone
- Improvisation
- Rockschool or Trinity grades 1-8
Lessons are held in my home with top quality equipment. However, if it's preferable, I can travel to you.
Lesson prices are:
30 minutes - £15
60 minutes - £20
Feel free to get in touch with me at any point to discuss any questions you may have!
