Lennox Forest near Glasgow is to have its own official mountain bike trails and skills area/bike park. Our charity, Rebound, is now working with the forestry commission and discussions have taken place regarding trails for all levels of riding.
The forest is located just outside Lennoxtown near Glasgow and is easily accessible from most major transport routes.
Centre facilities to include:
- fully developed and maintained skills area/bike park
- extensive trail network taking in the surrounding hills and landscape as well as the forest itself
- Modern and inviting visitor centre with car parking, cafe, bike wash and showers
- Walker and horse riding paths to encourage diverse users of the forest.
This tranquil woodland, with its majestic ancient oaks and old hawthorn hedges, has been growing on this hillside on the edge of Glasgow for hundreds of years.
