We all spend a huge amount of time at work – many of us spend more time at work than at home. So it’s important to be in a good environment; a welcoming place that you look forward to working in.
We think South Block is that place. It offers the potential for creative people like you – whether you’re a visual artist, social entrepreneur, or commercial business owner – to make inspiring work, develop your career, grow your business, collaborate and meet like-minded people.
We provide straightforward, flexible workspaces that you can stamp with your own taste, brand, identity and ethos. And all this happens in a professional but laid back, sociable and friendly environment.
We are Wasps Studios, one of the UK’s largest studio providers for visual and applied artists. We currently house 650 artists and 22 arts charities at 20 buildings across Scotland. We’re a nice bunch of people (well, we think so) and are passionate about supporting creative people in Scotland.
South Block is a new venture for us, mixing commercial and subsidised studio space. Any surplus earned will be reinvested back into our charitable work. So not only do you get a great, city centre studio but your money will do good at the same time.
