Our workshop was established in 2015 and began because of a shared dream to earn a living doing what we love, and to do it in alignment with our principles and values when it comes to repairing, building and the musical instrument industry in general.
The founding principle of The Guitar Workshop was that it would be an open workshop. Historically, guitar building workshops are very secretive. We decided our workshop would not only be visible but would encourage customers and guitar enthusiasts to see and experience instruments being made and repaired by hand.
This is why we custom built our high-street workshop to be open, welcoming and inclusive. We invite you to come in for a chat and a free coffee - have a look through our showroom, play the guitars on display, read some guitar magazines, and book yourself on one of our courses that will get you behind a bending iron and a chisel.
We feel it is important for customers to meet the luthiers who will be working on their instrument. And we value the chance to be able to share with you our passion and enthusiasm for the art of lutherie.
