Princes Square reopens with alfresco dining

Princes Square, Glasgow's premier destination for eating and drinking, has reopened with a new alfresco offering from Il Pavone and New York Grill who will open their pavement cafes on Buchanan Street

Il Pavone will have 8-10 tables on a first come, first served basis. They will be running a shortened menu featuring eight pizzas and pastas, a selection of sides and drinks.

New York Bar and Grill is the perfect place for a pit stop when you are out shopping and will also operate on a first come, first served basis for drinks only.

Princes Square will surprise and delight customers in the centre next week with a series of giveaways to celebrate reopening. Giveaways include gift vouchers to spend in the centre; flowers; complimentary coffee and cake, and much more.

Alexander Millar Fine Art will be welcoming customers back with a complimentary glass of fizz, 10% discount on paintings and they will be giving away a free set of ‘Say It with Flowers’ cufflinks with every purchase over £250.

Furniture and interiors company, Timothy Oulton, will be offering 30% discount on purchases from their collection.

Katie Moody, Princes Square, commented: “We’re delighted to be reopening and confident that shoppers will come out and support their local retailers. We’re excited to welcome our customers back safely to the spacious and airy surroundings of Princes Square.”

With over 25 retailers and 12 eateries, Princes Square is Glasgow’s premier retail and leisure destination. Located in the heart of the city’s bustling Buchanan Street, the mall provides a shopping haven to lovers of high street and designer fashion, beauty, jewellery, homewares and lifestyle brands while its wide range of bars, restaurants and cafes offers something for every palate.

Opening hours are 10am – 5.30pm Monday to Saturday and 12-5pm on Sundays. Restaurants will be open until 8pm. Outdoor pavement cafes will be open until 10pm.
