The Terrace at Si! on Kilwinning Road will offer an à la carte menu from 5pm to 9pm, Friday to Sunday, following a £250,000 refurbishment.
SimpsInns is a family-owned business run by the Irvine-based Simpson family, which already owns and operates a collection of award-winning hotels, restaurants, bars, spa, golf, and leisure activities along the Ayrshire coast.
The Terrace is located on the upper floor of Si! above The Potting Shed and will seat up to 110 people inside and 40 covers on the outdoor balcony, the ‘garden terrace’.
The makeover was led by Glasgow interior design company, 3 Design Scotland. Foliage and trees take centre stage, seamlessly bringing the essence of the outdoors indoors. When the sun is shining, people will get the chance to enjoy al fresco dining, a delicious cocktail or chilled glass of wine on the ‘garden terrace’.
Located just 40 minutes from Glasgow, The Terrace will offer diners an inviting space where they enjoy a modern and stylish dining experience in the heart of Irvine.
Starter highlights on the new menu include The Terrace Antipasto for two; chilli king prawns and the Terrace tempura with a choice of chicken, king prawn or vegetables.
Main courses include wild mushroom and tarragon rigatoni; chicken, black pudding and bacon pie or The Terrace burger served on a toasted brioche bun with gem lettuce, Ayrshire bacon and smoked cheddar and burger sauce and fries.
For those seeking a sizzling grill experience, The Terrace will offer everything from succulent steaks to mouth-watering Cajun-marinated Chicken. Each dish is expertly cooked to perfection on the grill.
Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are also available including a pesto injected mozzarella salad.
SimpsInns is the driving force behind The Terrace and The Potting Shed at Si!, as well as the group’s flagship venue, The Gailes Hotel & Spa, which is located just five minutes’ drive away on Marine Drive in Irvine.
Jack Simpson, who has managed The Terrace development, said: “Following the success of The Potting Shed earlier this year, we can’t wait to open the doors to our additional upper floor restaurant The Terrace from Friday 18th August and help build our reputation as Ayrshire’s trendiest new social venue.
“This will be a social space for any time of the year, including a place to kick back in long summer evenings and a cosy atmosphere to socialise during the winter months.”
Jack added: “Our attentive and friendly staff will be at your service, so whether you're celebrating a special occasion, enjoying an intimate meal with loved ones, or simply unwinding after a busy day, The Terrace promises a warm welcome and delicious dining.
“We’re committed to exceeding our guests’ expectations and are continually investing in our hotel and leisure facilities to make them the very best they can be.”
Supporting around 280 existing local jobs, SimpsInns has recently invested over £3 million across its portfolio of venues along the Ayrshire coast to retain its high quality product and service, and the overall visitor experience. Other visitor venues and experiences include Si! Spa at The Gailes; Gailes Golf:Leisure; The Waterside Hotel, West Kilbride; and the Old Loans Inn, near Troon.
