Popular Glasgow haunt to slash drink prices ahead of bar shake up

Popular Glasgow Haunt, Max's Bar, will slash the prices of a range of spirits and bottled beers & ciders as the team gets ready to freshen up their gantry.

A range of vodka, whisky, gin, rum and bottled drinks will see their prices cut by up to 50% ahead of the relaunch of Hot Liquor - their popular Monday night event that pits new and exciting products against each other for a space on the famous mirrored gantry.

Customers will be able to take advantage of the cut prices from Monday 2nd October until Thursday 5th October, with the Hot Liquor Bar returning on Monday 23rd October from 9pm. Over 10 different bottles of beer & cider will be on promotion with prices starting from £2, and over 50 different spirits from rum, whisky, vodka and gin will be available with prices starting from £2 per 25ml measure.

Hot Liquor Monday's ran successfully for years before the COVID pandemic, and was a popular spot for hospitality workers to sample new and exciting brands at a cut price, whilst bottle after bottle competed to be on sale at Max's Bar. Top DJs from all across Glasgow will return to Hot Liquor Monday’s from 23rd October.

Commenting, Dario Bernardi said: “We're really excited to be bringing back Hot Liquor - as we build a brand new gantry full of new and exciting brands that customers want to see.

“To celebrate the return, we're slashing the prices of over 60 product lines to clear some space for the new drinks. It's really important for us never to stand still, so come on down, enjoy a saving when the money is tight, and help shape Max's Bar for the future!”
