Owned by acclaimed chef Gary Townsend, Elements is a 36-cover fine dining restaurant located in the heart of Bearsden, Glasgow, renowned for its innovative menu that draws inspiration from the elements.
The lunch menu is updated weekly, beginning with delicious, seasonal canapes, followed by warm rustic sourdough accompanied by two types of butter or oils. Recent highlights include starters like wild halibut with maitake mushrooms or St Brides duck leg terrine with nashi pear salad. Main courses feature dishes such as wild mushroom ravioli, North Sea pollock fillet with shellfish orzo, and pork belly with black truffle pomme purée, followed by signature desserts such as Valrhona chocolate ganache, caramelised apricot with vanilla, or a selection of artisan cheeses from Mellis Cheesemonger. Vegan and vegetarian options also feature on the menus.
To showcase the restaurant's unique concept, this limited offer includes bespoke cocktails served with each course. Each drink has been expertly curated by mixologist Connor Wren, designed to evoke flavours linked to the four elements.
The signature cocktails included with lunch include:
• Earth - utilising premium Scottish gin, Downpour, blended with yuzu, citrus and basil
• Air - features Devaux’s premium Cuvée Champagne, topped with bramble syrup, honey and Minus 8 red verjus
• Fire - showcases Storywood Scottish tequila with mango, guava, habanero and hibiscus
• Water - incorporates Glengoyne 12-year-old single malt, Chartreuse Jaune, ginger and lemon.
Other highlights on the drinks menu include the house Champagne, Devaux, rich, full-bodied from the Côte des Bar region, Champagne, France, and a rare selection of tequilas and whiskies.
For the four non-alcoholic options, similar flavour profiles have been created using alternative products such as Wild Eve, Feregaia and Wild Idol sparkling fizz. These include:
• NA Earth: a refreshing gin-sour-inspired drink with Wild Eve botanical spirit, citrus and basil syrup
• NA Fire: a non-alcoholic margarita with Almave Ambar, habanero-hibiscus, mango and guava
• NA Water: a clarified milk punch featuring lemon verbena, ginger and honey
• NA Air: a crisp, sparkling blend of bramble-honey and premium non alc wine, Wild Idol
The experience is priced at £75 for four courses and four premium cocktails, the offer runs for four weeks from 26th September. A non-alcoholic offering is also available and diners have the choice of switching between the two.
Lunch is served Thursday through to Saturday 12.00- 4pm (last seating at 2pm), and Sunday 12.30pm - 4.30pm (last seating 2.30pm)
