Pavilion Theatre, Glasgow and Imagine Theatre are delighted to announce cast for their upcoming pantomime season as they confirm your favourite panto gang is back to bring all the usual mayhem to the stage in Jock and The Beanstalk from 27 November 2025 to 11 January 2026.
Confirmed to return are Liam Dolan (Lazy Larry), Grado (King Clanky), Stephen Purdon (Mayor Manky), Scott Fletcher (Jock Trott), Jack Jester (Fleshcreep), Jennifer Neil (Jill Clanky), Craig Glover (Dame Tina Trott), and Valissa Scott (Fairy Flora).
Presented once again by the award-winning Imagine Theatre, Jock and The Beanstalk will see the much-loved fairytale brought to life in a way that only your Pavilion panto pals can! Prepare yourself for all of the usual fun and games (and perhaps a bucket or two of slosh) in a show filled with mischief, music and mucking around! Perfect for the whole family.
Eric Potts, Artistic Director and Associate Producer for Imagine Theatre, and who is also co-directing and co-writing the show alongside Pavilion funnyman Liam Dolan, says of the production: ‘I can’t wait to get back to Glasgow for my third year working with this fabulous cast and the brilliant Pavilion team. Having been born and brought up in Irvine the Pav panto was one of our annual treats and it is such an honour to act as Associate Producer for Imagine Theatre and write and direct the shows there now along with Liam Dolan. Get your climbing boots on and follow Jock up that beanstalk – it’s going to be a cracker!!’
Jamie Gordon, Theatre Director at the Pavilion says: “We’re delighted to welcome back all of your Panto favourites for Jock and the Beanstalk. Panto is always a special time at the Pavilion, and we know our returning cast are what brings audiences back time and time again. We can’t wait for you to join us for what promises to be another truly unforgettable season; expect all the usual laughs, mischief and magic.”
The Trots are so poor they don’t have a bean to their name and what’s more, the evil and greedy giant Glaikitguts is terrifying the village. Will they really have to sell Buttercup, the family cow just to survive?
Come and join your favourite Pavilion pals for a GIANT of a panto with the fabulous festive adventure Jock and the Beanstalk. For information and tickets visit www.paviliontheatre.co.uk
