Earlier this year, as the Social Darts bar kicked off a year of celebrations to mark its tenth birthday, Flight Club turned to its community of followers to come up with an idea for its next hit game. The winning idea would see their creation made a reality and rolled out across all 29 Flight Club venues worldwide.
Hundreds of entries were submitted, and today, Game 7, as it has been known up until now, can finally be revealed. Joining Flight Club’s catalogue of games, including Donkey Derby and Snakes and Ladders, is the ultimate party favourite: Limbo. It’s the beloved classic that everyone knows, now reimagined with a Social Darts twist.
Lower You Go, The Higher The Stakes
Limbo is a super-charged, fast-paced challenge that will test players' nerves and precision as they battle it out to be the last one standing. The rules are simple, but the competitive pressure is immense:
• Go Low: Much like the classic game of Limbo, players must go lower than the score set by the previous player.
• Lose a Life: If you fail to score lower or hit the same score, you lose a life and the target bar resets.
• Last One Standing: Lose three lives and you’re out. The winner is the last one standing!
The game’s inspiration came from the Flight Club community, with the winning idea submitted by John Cook from West Wickham, Bromley. The game was then designed and developed by Flight Club’s in-house team.
“At Flight Club, we're all about creating unexpected, ridiculous joy, and what's more joyful than a party classic turned into a competitive darts game?” said Ben Morris, Digital Director at Flight Club. “We’ve taken the familiar fun of Limbo and injected it with our high-tech Social Darts flavour. It’s a hilarious, fast-paced game that brings out everyone's competitive side. All our Limbo testers have been instantly hooked. We’re confident it's going to be a fan favourite, and we can't wait for our guests worldwide to finally get to play John's brilliant creation!”
Limbo will be available to play at all Flight Club venues starting Friday 14th November.
