ASN sessions to be held at Winter Wonderland Glasgow Green
Dedicated ASN sessions are to be hosted at Glasgow's Winter Wonderland at Glasgow Green to enable families in need of support to have a festive day out.

The exclusive sessions will take place at the ice-rink on Sunday 30 November at 11am and Friday 5 December at 2pm. A session for ‘Cinders Fella’ the laugh out loud Glasga themed family mini panto, hosted in Big Top Live, will be held on Sunday 30 November and Friday 5 December at 6pm and on the same days at 4pm and 4.30pm on the 5th, families can enjoy ‘Jingle Around the World’, a sensory story telling session featuring Jingle the Elf who is preparing for final Elf School exams.
Organisers have also teamed up with charity, Revolootion, to provide specialist toilet facilities that feature specialist grab rails, electric hoist, fully height adjustable changing table, and lots of space. An attendant will be available to provide assistance.
One of the cities most loved charities, Glasgow Children’s Hospital, will have their sensory bus in attendance which is specially equipped and also provides a quite space for those who may need it.
Visitors can enjoy a ride in the Observation Wheel which has accessible capsules suitable for wheelchair users, as well as enjoy other traditional rides, festive shopping and themed food and drinks.
Jensen Taylor Connelly, Director, Scotland’s Theme Park events said: “We’ve been working with the ASN community to provide added support to families to really enjoy a great experience. We’ve provided specialist garaging facilities for Revolootion, who are based down south, to enable them to be at Glasgow Green. The toilets provided added independence to families needing support enabling them to spend more time enjoying the Winter Wonderland.”

The Winter Wonderland at St Enoch Square will be open until Wednesday 24th December and the Winter Wonderland on Glasgow Green will be open until Sunday 4 January.
