The Lord Provost of Glasgow is delighted to welcome all to join the Blessing of the Crib in George Square on Wednesday 4th December!
About Blessing of the Crib
The traditional Blessing of the Crib takes place in George Square beneath the Christmas lights to a chorus of singers with the Lord Provost of Glasgow. This ceremonial event is immersed in tradition and celebrates the true meaning of Christmas.
This event is free to attend and open to all. Remember to wrap up warm and come dressed for the weather.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
