Let the Christmas magic begin with Merry Milngavie, the official Milngavie Christmas Lights Switch On and Reindeer Parade, being held in the town centre on Saturday 22nd November!

Get ready for a magical day of free festive fun as Merry Milngavie Christmas 2025 returns to Milngavie town centre! From 12pm to 5pm enjoy live music on the main stage, browse the car boot sale and sample festive drinks with The Scottish Gantry on Mugdock Road. Families can enjoy free ceilidh dancing, kids’ arts and crafts, cupcake decorating, and face painting throughout the afternoon.

Inside St Andrew’s Church, little ones can visit Santa’s Grotto (£3 entry including a small gift and photo opportunity), while Uncle Billy’s puppet and magic shows will keep audiences entertained in The Fraser Centre.

Don’t miss Santa's Parade at 3pm, followed by the Christmas Tree Light Switch-On at 5pm.
