Interested in learning to play the guitar, drums or fiddle or need some help getting to the next stage? Our music lessons are led by professional musicians and aimed at adults and children from age 8yrs and up. Open to beginners / all levels of experience.
-5pm - 6.30pm - children & young people (8yrs - 16yrs)
-7pm – 8.30pm - adults (16yrs+)
Each 90-minute workshop will include both a group lesson on your chosen instrument followed by Junior Big Band Session led by our team of professional musicians.
For the band sessions, participants, regardless experience levels, come together to improvise, play and learn together.
Artists, facilitators and musicians lead each session and are on hand to provide support and tuition during the session. There will be plenty of breakout spaces provided in between to support group work with all artists providing support, tuition and advice during the workshop.
The aim is to provide a friendly and supportive space for collaboration and musical experimentation - with (optional) performance and recording opportunities on offer at the end of the block.
