Janice's last Sauerkraut workshop was so popular, that we are delighted to have her back. Join The Queen of Fermenting, Janice Clyne at this hands on Sauerkraut Workshop!
Janice has been literally obsessed by the wonderful world of fermenting for over 10 years and is an expert on gut health and all things fermented. She was recently filmed for a new food series on BBC2, to be screened in the new year! Her kitchen, fridge and cupboards are full of ferments, bubbling away in all their vibrant colours and she will share all her fermenting secrets at this workshop.
Learn all about the wonderful world of fermented veggies, and make a jar of sauerkraut to take home! Janice will be discussing all the health benefits of sauerkraut, of which there are many, and covering all the basics to have you confidently and safely fermenting like a pro at home.
We will be sampling many delicious seasonal ferments during the workshop, including:
- Pineapple, turmeric and ginger kraut
- Apple & caraway
- Lemon & dill
- Super green detox kraut
... all delicious and packed with probiotic bacteria to keep your gut in tip top shape.
A jar of homemade sauerkraut makes a fab and unique gift. It's literally giving the gift of health to yourself, so come and join the fun, learn how simple it is to make your own and get creative with all the seasonal flavours.
All the recipes will be e-mailed to you after the workshop, so you can re-create your sauerkraut whenever you like.
You will need to bring a 1 litre clip top jar and your best sharp knife.
Places limited to 10 so book asap to secure a place.
All notes, recipes and recommendations will be emailed after the workshop. and of course you will take home your own jar of delicious sauerkraut!
