The Scottish Beatbox Championships
Bringing you the very best vocal percussionists in Scotland, they will battle it for the title when The Scottish Beatbox Championships are held at Room 2 Glasgow on Saturday 30th August!
About The Scottish Beatbox Championships
The Scottish Beatbox Championships (SBC) return, celebrating a successful seven years in operation, and we are hosting the event this year at Room 2, Glasgow, on Saturday, 30th August!
This is our first time at Room 2, and having previously held the event in locations such as Nice N Sleazy, McChuills, and Ivory Blacks, we are excited to bring the event to a new venue.
The SBC begins with an elimination round consisting of the country's top vocal percussionists.
Elimination Round - 1.30 Minutes (Each individual will have this amount of time to showcase their talent, and after this, the judges decide who will participate in the top 8 ).
Qtr Final/Semi Final/Final - 2 x 1.30 minutes (Each individual will battle it out for the SBC title)
Small Final - 2 x 1.30 minutes (the two defeated beatboxers from the Semi Finals, will compete in a small final round for 3rd and 4th place)
You will have performances from our host and judging panel, which we will announce soon.
As mentioned, we have run this event for seven years in a row, and as a big thank you for all your support over the years, we have decided to make the event FREE ENTRY!
If you have never witnessed a beatboxer, or you have seen it online via a video, but have never yet experienced this type of event, then why not try something new?
It is a jaw-dropping experience, and you will be amazed at what these talented artists can do with only their voice.
