Our final Property Masterclass event of the year is happening at The Village Hotel in Glasgow on Tuesday 18th November!
Our Masterclass events offer you the opportunity to gain some valuable insights into a range of areas within the industry and make some brilliant connections in the Scottish property network, too!
Our guest speakers will be revealed soon:
Ryan Hardie - Property Developer
Based in Glasgow, Ryan Hardie is a full-time firefighter with a growing passion for property investment. At 34 years old, Ryan balances his career in the fire service with building his property portfolio, all while being a devoted fiancé and dad to his lovely two-year-old daughter.
Ryan’s talk will take you through his inspiring property journey so far, from being “lazy with a lot of credit card debt” to becoming a strategic investor using the BRRR method (Buy, Refurbish, Rent, Refinance, Repeat). He’ll share how he got started in property, some of the key projects he’s completed, and how he’s successfully raised private investor finance to grow his portfolio with minimal personal capital.
Ryan will also discuss his future plans and the lessons he’s learned along the way, proving that anyone can turn things around and build a better financial future with the right mindset and strategy.
Lyndsay Yuill - Lettings Expert & Sales Director at RentLocally
Lyndsay is the Sales Director at Rent Locally, a leading letting and property management agency operating across much of Scotland. With a degree in Psychology and Business, she helps landlords and investors maximise their property potential.
Alongside her role at Rent Locally, Lyndsay hosts the Edinburgh Property Investors Network (PIN) and is part of the Edinburgh Podcast Networking Team. She also co-runs Property Pals and Poppodoms, a popular networking event for property professionals in West Lothian.
At the Property Masterclass, Lyndsay will share an up-to-date overview of the Scottish lettings market, highlight key upcoming legislative changes, and provide practical tips every landlord should know to stay compliant and profitable.
Stephen O'Neill - Chairman of Newton Property Factors
Stephen has built one of Scotland’s leading property businesses entirely from scratch - not once, but twice. At the Property Masterclass, he’ll speak openly about his journey of beginning from a “cold start,” sharing the highs, lows, and valuable lessons learned along the way.
Stephen grew up watching his father build a successful 10-branch firm, William O’Neill & Partners, a remarkable achievement for someone from humble, working-class beginnings. When the business was lost in the late 1980s, it left a lasting impact that shaped Stephen’s determination to succeed in his own right.
After years in estate agency, he moved into the emerging rental sector in the early 1990s, launching his own company, O’Neills, in 1994, which he grew from scratch and successfully sold in 2001. With renewed ambition, he went on to found Newton, building it into one of the largest property management businesses in Scotland.
At the event, Stephen will share his hard-earned insights on building and scaling a property business, minimising risk, and maintaining momentum, even through the toughest times.
Following their presentations, our guest speakers will be available to network giving you the chance to quiz them on their areas of expertise. There will also be the opportunity to network with fellow attendees at the event, so you can share your troubles and triumphs in property, and ultimately learn from each other's experiences.
Our Property Masterclass event is FREE to attend, however numbers are strictly limited and spaces usually fill up fast, so make sure you reserve a ticket today to secure your place!
