Come along to Art Space G41 for a lovely evening out with friends, meet people, learn a new skill, and create your very own striking and original handmade shade to take home with you!
About Screen Print Your Own Lampshade
This event is priced on a sliding scale of £40-65
Print and make your own lampshade at this all day workshop!
What to expect:
After planning your design and picking a colour palette from a range of pre-mixed inks, you will be guided through the process of screen-printing a piece of fabric with stencils. Once dry and set, you will construct a small lampshade from your unique piece of fabric.
What to bring:
Inspiration imagery and/or sketches of design ideas.
An apron and/or clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
What will be supplied:
All materials and equipment.
A 20cm drum lampshade kit – the perfect size for table lamps.
Accessibility
Art Space G41 does not have a wheelchair accessible bathroom. The Shawlands Arcade walkway is accessible via ramp and the front door of Art Space can be made accessible using a removable wheelchair ramp. We try to keep the format of our classes accessible for everyone.
