Lunar New Year Celebration
Come along to The Burrell Collection on Saturday 1st February and experience a jam-packed programme of events for all ages to celebrate the Lunar New Year!
About Lunar New Year Celebration
Enter the Year of the Snake! Slither your way along to the Burrell Collection as we welcome a new year in the Lunar calendar.
Included in the celebrations there will be an amazing lion dance performance from U.K. Glasgow Hong Lok Dragon And Lion Dance Troupe who will amaze us all with their dazzling performance.
We will also be joined by Ricefield Arts who will offer dance performances, workshop, calligraphy and crafts.
All of this plus free face painting, crafts and talks will make a great cultural day out.
The whole day is free and there is no need to book however should you wish to take part in the storytelling or dance workshop you will have to book on the day at reception – spaces are limited so it will be first come first served.
