The full day session will allow you to develop your skills and techniques, particularly in stencil-based imaging, mixing printing inks and perfecting registration.
The class aims to:
Introduce students to the terminologies, concepts and principles of screen-printing
Encourage students to develop their own artwork ideas in a relaxed and supportive environment
Develop skills and ideas to include investigations into materials, drawing techniques, processing, and printing
Situate their work in an historical, critical, and technical understanding of Fine Art printmaking
Enable students to begin to develop their creative and visual ideas through the language of screenprinting
The class is project led and aims to stretch the students’ abilities and knowledge. Please bring along sketchbook work, photography, or artwork that you wish to work from. A good size to work with is A4.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
