These relaxed and informal sessions are for anyone that wants the chance to practice drawing people from real life, but unlike traditional nude life drawing, they will be clothed.
With different models and garments every week, these sessions provide the exciting opportunity for aspiring or practicing fashion designers, fashion illustrators and anyone interested in drawing the human figure through a fashion slant, or anyone simply looking for a relaxed evening creating some art!
I am really passionate about starting this as there is nowhere else in Glasgow doing this, and drawing people from life is something I myself want to keep practicing. I hope others will share my passion and together we can build something of a community around this.
No previous experience necessary, anyone over 16 welcome (if you are under 16 and interested please contact me to discuss coming along).
Some materials will be supplied, but please bring your own paper or sketchbook and whatever dry or water sotuable materials you wish to draw/ paint with. Or of course something to draw with digitally if that is your practice.
Please arrive 5-10 mins early to get yourself set up ready to start.
There will be the option to tip the model at the end of the session.
The sessions will be untutored, relaxed and informal, however Holly will be on hand if you would like some help or suggestions - please ask.
If you have any questions about the sessions please get in touch -
email: info@hollysharpe.com
Tickets are non refundable, if you cannot make the session you have booked please email at least 24 hours in advance to discuss the option of using your ticket price for another week.
Look forward to drawing with you,
Holly
