We will work together to create our own Summer Pavilion decorative interior. The group will begin by creating collages inspired by shapes drawn from House for an Art Lover’s Victorian walled gardens and play park, working outside to gather inspiration. We will then cut patterned paper, newspapers and printed papers to develop simple graphic motifs. These motifs will be used to experiment with pattern, scale and design placement on paper – eventually translating these shapes to paintings and making our own maquettes. The focus will be on shape and colour and the group will then choose a motif each to develop for the mural painting. We will end the workshop by working together to paint our mural!
Suitable for ages 8-12.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
