There was The Fab Four…
There was nearly the Gallus Glasgow Six.
Six Glasgow lads, with dreams of hitting “Top of The Pops” and conquering the world. But these charts meant navigating life, love, mammies and daddies and making ends meet. Oh and school. Then University…with a mix of puberty and the melancholy of first love. Love’s young dream fighting against their music machine, the mean streets of Glasgow versus the confines of Catholic education…and a No Mean City whose face was changing as its tenements fell and the wrecking ball brought new concrete jungles.
Join our six “wannabes” as they pick up their plectrums, brylcreem their hair, contemplate their first “snog”….and life!
They could dream…but did they lose the dream?
Based on a true story and featuring original songs from “The Mungo Boys”
