The Glasgow Gathering of Quilters was established in 2002 with the purposes of:
- promoting appreciation, knowledge and understanding of the skill, art, technique and heritage of quilt making
- fostering a climate of friendship and cooperation amongst quiltmakers locally, nationally and internationally
- providing a social and educational forum for quiltmakers in and around the Glasgow area.
The Gathering is open to anyone and we have members and visitors who come from Glasgow, Ayrshire, Argyllshire, Lanarkshire and Renfrewshire.
Join us at our annual meeting on 3rd Tuesday of each month to meet other quilters, to listen to national and international speakers, to enjoy a fun 'Sewcial' evening, and more!.
Visitors are welcome at all meetings, for a charge of £6 per meeting.
