About Oil Painting Taster Class

This class is designed for beginners or refreshers who want to learn more about oil painting. Previous experience is not necessary. The tutor will explain different materials and mediums for oil painting and teach how to use them. Participants are recommended to bring the image or sketch that they want to develop or don’t worry – the tutor will help you to find a subject. Participants will be able to complete a small painting (A5-A4 size) by the end of the class.

Participants will:
Try the ‘alla prima’ method and complete a small painting on board (A5-A4 size);
Learn basic method of using oil and oil paint;
Boost their confidence in painting and enjoy the process of painting.

The tutor, Yeonjoo Cho is a professional artist and teacher. The class is small and all materials will be provided.
