On Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 19:30 GMT, we will gather at Adelaide Place, 209 Bath Street, Glasgow, G2 4HZ to commemorate two decades of harmony singing from around the world.
This in-person event promises to be a night to remember as we sing songs from our many years together and launch our third CD, featuring songs in Spanish, Swedish, German, Swahili, Georgian, Quechua, Slovak, Zulu/Xhosa, Sotho, Khoekhoe, English - and Glaswegian.
We are delighted to be joined on the night by two of Glasgow's foremost vocal harmony groups, Govanhill Voices and Voicemale, who will perform songs from their unique repertoire.
Immerse yourself in the vibrant sounds of world music as our choir showcases a rich tapestry of traditions from different cultures and continents. From lively African rhythms to evocative Latin melodies, our programme will celebrate the diversity of unaccompanied vocal music in its many forms.
Whether you are a music lover, a friend to Voicebeat, a supporter of community arts, or simply seeking an uplifting experience, this anniversary concert is not to be missed.
Save the date and mark your calendars now for the Voicebeat 21st Anniversary Concert. We look forward to celebrating this milestone with you.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
