Featuring two prime locations, our Winter Wonderlands on Glasgow Green and St Enoch Square, are bursting with festive fun, family attractions and seasonal entertainment. It’s the perfect way to soak up the festive atmosphere and enjoy a great time with friends and family.

See Glasgow from new heights in the comfort of our spectacular Observation Wheels, enjoy live theatre performances in the Festive Big Top Live!, visit Santa in his festive Grotto, and explore a fantastic variety of family friendly and thrill seeking rides.

Treat yourself to a bite to eat from independent food vendors, from a quick snack to a festive feast, and discover unique gifts and crafts from local sellers. Or head to one of our festive bars, where there’ll be live music and plenty of cheer.

With ASN sessions and special discounts for Glasgow residents, there’s something for everyone to enjoy at our Winter Wonderlands.

Glasgow’s Winter Wonderland at St. Enoch Square

Opening Dates & Times
Glasgow’s Winter Wonderland at St. Enoch Square opens from Thursday 6th November until Wednesday 24th December.

Sunday to Thursday: Midday - 9pm
Friday & Saturday: 10am - 10pm

Christmas Eve Close 8pm.
Closed Christmas Day.

St. Enoch Square will be transformed into a festive Wonderland with lots of family friendly attractions.

View the city from new heights in the comfort of the world’s first solar powered observation wheel, which has an accessible capsule. Centre stage will be the Bar Hub, unveiled for the first time in Scotland, which will feature live music.

Children will love the family favourite traditional rides including a children’s carousel and flying balloons or why not capture the moment in the photobooth Snow Globe.

Enjoy festive shopping with a choice of bespoke gifts as well as independent food and drink makers selling items such as unique mixers and cordials and British brandy liqueurs.

And if all the shopping works up an appetite you can sample seasonal foods from the Swing Grill, serving traditional Bavarian sausages, or why not try some authentic Turkish food, Dutch pancakes, or churros.

Glasgow Green Ice Rink

As part of the festive celebrations in Glasgow’s City Centre this year we are excited to welcome the spectacular outdoor Ice Rink complete with themed festive bar. The perfect family festive day out.

The Ice Rink will be open selected dates and times from 21st of November up to and including 4th of January.

ASN sessions: These sessions provide extra support for individuals with sensory needs, along with their families and caregivers, so they can have a wonderful time in a calm and enjoyable atmosphere. In these sessions, we limit the number of people on the ice, and the music is either turned off or played at a very low volume.

Cinder’s Fella – A Folksy Mini Panto The Festive Big Top Live
Get ready for 45 minutes of pure festive fun as Folksy Theatre Company bring their brand-new mini panto to Glasgow!

This fast-paced, laugh-out-loud retelling of the classic Cinderella story comes with a Glasgow twist – packed full of cheeky humour, outrageous costumes, catchy songs and comedy that all ages will enjoy.

The cast deliver big characters, big laughs and plenty of sparkle for the whole family.

Perfect for families looking for a shorter festive treat, Cinder’s Fella keeps the energy high and the jokes flowing – guaranteeing giggles from kids and grown-ups alike.

All performances will be presented in our 32 metre round circus tent.

Jingle Around the World at The Festive Big Top Live
Jingle’s Around the World – A Festive Sensory Story by Folksy Theatre. Jingle the elf has one last challenge before they can graduate from elf school – their final Christmas exam! To pass, they must discover how families celebrate Christmas across the globe and they can’t do it without the children’s help.

This 30-minute festive sensory storytelling session by Folksy blends:
• Interactive play with audience
• Live music and songs
• Puppets and props

Textures, sounds (and maybe even some smells) to explore each new destination.
Designed to be inclusive, welcoming and fun for all, the show sparks curiosity about different cultures while wrapping everything in the joy and sparkle f Christmas.

All performances will be presented in our 32 metre round circus tent.

Santa’s Grotto
Step into the magic this Christmas and experience the wonder of Santa’s Grotto at Glasgow’s Winter Wonderland on the Green.

Families will be welcomed into our beautifully themed grotto, where every detail has been designed to bring festive joy to life. Children will meet Santa himself, capture a magical moment and enjoy an unforgettable Christmas experience at the heart of the city.

With limited spaces available, make sure to book early to avoid disappointment. Walk- up tickets may be available on the day however are subject to availability and are charged at a higher ticket price.
